Lawn & Turf Mixes:
- Elite Lawn: This is our highest quality mixture for people who want an “ELITE” turf and who are willing to fertilize, water and mow regularly. Elite is fast establishing and fine textured. Seeding Rate: 4 to 6lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Sun/Shade: This is the best choice for areas that are exposed to sun and shade frequently. In shady areas, it will grow where other grasses have failed. It has a moderate texture and is a dark green. Seeding Rate: 4 to 6lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Northwest Blue: This mixture is for those who want a traditional Kentucky Bluegrass lawn. Northwest Blue is a blend of three top Kentucky bluegrasses. Be patient with Northwest Blue. Kentucky Bluegrass is slow to establish but worth the wait! Seeding Rate: 3 to 4lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Playground: Fast establishing, durable dark green turf. It is excellent for high traffic areas like ball fields and lawns with children and pets. It is also fine textured. Seeding Rate 5 to 7lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Triumph: This is a great all around lawn. It is an excellent choice for overseeding existing lawns and when a lawn needs to be established quickly. It is dark green with a very fine texture. Seeding Rate: 6 to 10lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
- LoGro: This is a great mixture for low maintenance lawn applications. It is durable, drought tolerant and grows slowly when it is watered and fertilized frequently, it behaves like a traditional lawn. Seeding Rate: 4 to 6lmb. per 1,000 sq. ft.
Pasture Mixes:
- Thoroughbred Pasture: This mix is an excellent choice for horse pastures. It tolerates heavy grazing and provides quality forage. Min. Precipitation: 16 inches or irrigation.
- Cattle Pasture: This cattle pasture mix was developed for a ranch in North Idaho. It is adapted to a wide range of area and proves to be excellent for grazing cattle. Min Precipitations: 16 inches or irrigation.
- Dryland Pasture: This mix is designed with grass species that are well adapted for dry sites. Min Precipitation: 12 inches or irrigation.
- Economy Pasture: This mix provides quality pasture at an economical price. Often used for over seeding to rejuvenate and existing pasture. Min. Precipitation: 16 inches or irrigation.
- Hay Mix: This mix provides excellent high protein hay. It lasts longer than straight alfalfa stands.
Reclamation Mixes:
- Erosion Control: This mix stabilizes soil on steep hillsides, access roads, embankments and roadcuts. Also excellent for weed control. Seeding Rate: Broadcast 25-30lbs./acre. On banks with 2:1 slope: 40-80lbs./acre.
- Yellow Star Fighter: This mix prevents weed invasion while still providing grazing value. Developed for droughty sites to help prevent invasion of knapweed, yellowstar thistle and other noxious weeds. Seeding Rate: Broadcast 25-40lbs./acre.
- Hunters Dream: This is a blend of annual and perennial plants developed for the Northwest. Designed to attract deer and elk. Seeding Rate: Broadcast 2lbs./1,000 sq. ft.
- Wildlife Mix: This mix is designed to provide cover and food for big game and wild birds. Seeding Rate: Broadcast 25-30lbs. /acre
- Cabin Mix: This is a perfect mix for your mountain cabin. It’s low growing and requires .very little water while staying green most of the summer. Seeding Rate: Broadcast 35-40lbs./acre.
